To get the celebrations started early we’re going to do a Facebook Live quiz today at 7pm with some great prizes, including flights to San Francisco! In the meantime check out our Love Map as it might have some info that will come in handy on the quiz later .
Terms and Conditions
1. THE PROMOTER
1. The promoter is: Thomas Cook Airlines Limited whose principal address is Hangar 1, Western Maintenance Area, Runger Lane, Manchester Airport, M90.
2. THE COMPETITION
2.1 The title of the competition is “PRIDE LIVE QUIZ”.
2.2 By entering our competition you hereby agree to the following terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”). The competition runs at 7pm on Aug 20th 2018 and ends as soon as the live stream is over.
2.3 You are not eligible to enter this competition if you are an employee or a close relation of an employee of Thomas Cook Airlines Limited or any parent, subsidiary or associated company.
2.4 You acknowledge and agree to abide by the rules, regulations, terms and conditions for this competition as determined by the Promoter (the “Rules”) and you acknowledge that the Rules may be changed (including without limitation verbally) at any time by the Promoter in their sole discretion. The Promoters’ decisions regarding all elements of the competition shall be final and binding.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 To enter the prize draw for each prize comment with the correct answer on the live competition post on the Thomas Cook Airlines Facebook page.
3.2 Only one correct answer per question per person counts in the draw. Each question will be live for 60 seconds and immediately afterwards a winner will be chosen from all eligible entries and displayed on screen.
3.3 To enter the separate prize draw for the £100 like and share the competition post during the live stream.
4.1 The competition is only open to residents in the UK aged 18 years or over, except: (a) employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies; (b) employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or (c) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
4.2 In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
4.3 The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.
4.4 All decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the choice of winner or prize allocated.
5. THE PRIZES
5.1 There are nine different prizes that will be given out at various times throughout the quiz;

💰 1x £100 cash
The two return flights to San Francisco from Manchester Airport flying with Thomas Cook Airlines. Fly between August 2018 and August 2018 excluding school holidays, Christmas and New Years. Max cost of £1,000 per pair of flights. Flights must be booked by Sept 30th 2018.
5.2 Prizes are subject to availability. There is no cash alternative for the prize.
5.3 The prizes are not negotiable or transferable.
6. WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT
6.1 The winners of the prizes will be shown on screen shortly after that 60 seconds is up. All winners will be announced shortly after the competition ends. The winners will be contacted on Facebook shortly after the competition closes. As winners are announced live they will have to be verified after the competition ends.
7. CLAIMING THE PRIZE
7.1 If you are the winner of a prize, you will have 2 (two) days from the notification date to claim the prize by responding to the Promoter through Facebook direct message. All winners must Direct Message us within 48 hours with their full name, postal address, email address and phone number. If you do not claim the prize by this date, your claim will become invalid.
7.2 The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
7.3 The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
7.4 Only one prize per winner, if someone is lucky enough to win twice, they get to choose which prize they get and we will pick another winner for the second prize.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
9. DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY
9.1 If you are the winner of the competition, you agree that the Promoter may use your name, image and town or county of residence to announce the winner of this competition and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes.
9.2 By entering the competition, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the competition entry may be held and used only by the Promoter or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition.
10.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
10.2 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
10.3 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
